All Mountain Adventures is based in beautiful Boulder, Colorado one hour from both Denver International Airport (DIA) and renowned Rocky Mountain National Park, a phenomenal training ground for rock, ice, alpine and ski objectives. AMA also guides around the world on some of the finest climbing crags, frozen water falls, alpine walls, and backcountry ski descents. We have highlighted some of our favorites here on our site.

To ensure the highest quality guiding and instruction, we offer only IFMGA/AMGA certified guides and we pride ourselves as being the only U.S. guide service to do so. This means that all our guides have passed their Rock, Alpine and Ski certifications; that is, they have received their “doctorates” in guiding from the American Mountain Guides Association.

The AMGA is this country's only organization offering comprehensive training and certification programs for mountain guides. In 1997 AMGA was recognized by the International Federation of Mountain Guides Associations (IFMGA, a.k.a. UIAGM in French or IVBV in German) as a member country.

Along with their certification, most of our guides also teach for the AMGA as guide instructors. This ensures the safest and most contemporary guiding techniques are used; you will be guided by the best in the profession.
